1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Reland may collect, why we collect it, and how you can contact us about privacy requests. Depending on your location, Serbian personal data protection law, GDPR, or similar privacy laws may apply.
Reland does not try to learn more about you than is reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
2. Information we may collect
- Account data such as email, display name, authentication provider, and basic account metadata.
- Optional profile or preference data you choose to provide or save.
- Job search data such as favorites, viewed jobs, filters, and other interface preferences.
- Job reports, correction requests, removal requests, and support messages submitted by users.
- Optional email addresses submitted in report forms.
- Technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
- IP address and browser or device data where necessary for security, abuse prevention, and service operation.
- Cookie preferences.
- Analytics data only if analytics is enabled and you have consented.
3. Why we use this information
- To let you sign in and use account features.
- To save favorites, viewed jobs, filters, and preferences.
- To operate, maintain, debug, and secure the service.
- To protect Reland from spam, abuse, scraping, and attacks.
- To review reports, fix incorrect or outdated job listings, and respond to company or rights holder requests.
- To understand and improve product performance and usability.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Public job source data
Reland collects job information from public company career pages and similar public sources. Public job data may include job titles, locations, application links, recruiter or employer contact details, and other information published by the original source.
We use public job data to display listings and direct users to the original source. We do not sell public job contacts, use them for mailing lists, or transfer them as a standalone contact database.
If you are a company, rights holder, recruiter, or person whose public contact information appears in a job listing, you can request correction or removal by contacting us.
5. Who may access information
Authorized Reland team members, contractors, or service providers may access limited information only when needed for support, development, security, moderation, legal compliance, service maintenance, or abuse prevention.
6. Third-party providers
Reland may use third-party providers such as hosting providers, Firebase/Auth/Firestore, an analytics provider if configured, and an email provider if configured. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Reland.
7. Analytics and cookies
Non-essential analytics or marketing storage should only be enabled after you consent. Essential cookies or local storage may still be used for authentication, security, session handling, and preferences.
8. No sale of personal data
Reland does not sell personal data.
9. Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including account access, service operation, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, backups, and legitimate business needs.
Some technical, security, backup, or legally relevant records may be retained for a limited period after deletion where necessary.
10. Your choices and rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and withdrawal of optional cookie consent. You can update non-essential cookie preferences through the cookie banner or by clearing browser storage for Reland.
